I received notification if the event from Kiefer Jewelers . No where in this notification (actually there were two) did it offer the opportunity to make an appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by a young lady who asked a barrage if questions including my shopping history with Kiefer's. This information can be accessed through their own data base. I was quite nervous about having several pieces of jewelry appraised. Appraiser Eric Jones set to work, obviously experienced. His inspection of my pieces and his manner quickly put me at ease. I knew I had one quite valuable stone as well as one of not nearly the same quality. Eric assessed all the pieces with professionalism and good nature. I feel I received a fair price for this type of sale and accepted it. I would not be hesitant to bring additional pieces for appraisal to Eric in the future because of this experience.
