I felt like the man I had was not very knowledgeable and was not fair on the pricing. He kept looking at the same pieces if jewelry over and over. He tried to tell me one of my white gold chains was Sterling . I told him it was 14 K . He went and got another machine to ck . I was right. I will never go back to this event again

Business response:

We apologize for your experience, Debbie. We strive to provide accurate evaluations and fair pricing for all our customers. Your feedback is important to us and we will address this issue with our team. If you have any further concerns, please feel free to contact us at (888) 787-1112. National Rarities

I sent a comment message on Facebook asking a question on my bracelets. I was told that they would be accepted. When I went in person, the man that assisted me wasn't even interested in them. They were expensive bracelets, too. I can't remember the name of the man who assisted me.

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us Carol. We are sorry to hear that there was miscommunication from our Facebook page. We try our best to tell customers what we do and do not buy, but ultimately, we cannot decide if it is something we will take until we see it in person. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to call (888) 787- 1112. Thank you again, and we hope to assist you again in the future. National Rarities

The person I was assigned was obviously not knowledgeable of several pie ces and in fact, was insulting. Her goal was obviously to win the trophy for low balling. I will never participate in one of your events again or do business with this jeweler who "hosted" this event. Pls remove my name from any mailing lists for any events in the future.

Business response:

We apologize for your negative experience with National Rarities. We strive to provide knowledgeable and respectful service to all of our customers, and are sorry if your experience feel short. We can assure you we are not trying to lowball or be insulting when making our offers. Please contact us at (888) 787-1112 to discuss your concerns further. National Rarities

Expected to look at more based on the card. I had several thousand dollars in Daniel Moore prints, a wide variety sheeted stamps, framed coins and a few other things. Understand stuff has to be shipped.

Business response:

We appreciate your feedback, Robert. We apologize if our service did not meet your expectations. We take pride in providing excellent customer service and we are sorry that you had a negative experience. As for prints, the back of our postcard says we only take original art by known artists. We are sorry again if you feel that we were not clear about this policy. National Rarities

Were not looking for rarities at all. Wanting gold and silver to melt down. Did give a fair price for the little I let go. Not interested in vintage, error coins, priceline dolls, I had some other things bit didn't even bother to take in. Didn't look to see makers mark . Had set of plated cufflink and tie clip came from England.

Business response:

Hi Tracy, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience at our event. We do buy other rarities that are not gold and silver. We have a selling list on our website that details that types of items that we purchase. We are sorry that we were not able to purchase some of the items that you brought in. We are sorry again and hope to assist you again in the future. National Rarities

I don't believe I got a fair price for my gold and silver but I didn't have enough to argue about it. I understand making a profit, but I feel like you guys are bottom of the barrel on offers. Also, the 3 men representing you were kind of slimy so you felt like you were taken advantage of. I saw quite a few people take their items and leave, though like I said, I didn't have enough to leave and go somewhere else.

Business response:

Hello Jackie, We are sorry to hear you had such a poor experience. All of our offers to customers are no pressure, so if the customer is not comfortable or feels the offer is too low, they can decline. We see on our records that you were paid almost $800 at the event. If you felt like you were not being given a fair price you could have declined the offer. As far as our staff, we are sorry to hear that you found them to be slimy or that you were being taken advantage of. Several of our staff members at the event you attend... read more
