I really didn't know what to expect and as you are probably well aware sentiment can be high. With that in mind I was prepared that I might feel loss but it really wasn't so and I joyfully deposited my money in my Savings hoping that that is a better gift to pass onto my grand daughter than some silver and gold.

When I received the mailing advertising the National Rarities event at Nancy & Co. Fine Jewelers in Demopolis, AL, I was immediately interested in taking in a few pieces of old jewelry and a small coin collection. I had no idea what to expect in terms of the fair market value of my pieces, but because I trust Ivy and the staff at Nancy & Co, I knew I could trust the event sponsors. I was DEFINITELY right! We had a very pleasant experience. The buy er was Mr. Treverk I think. He was patient informative and cheerful. We had no problems. The only thing was that we did not know we were selling by weight. We would not have bothered on some items. The add should have been clearer.

We came in 3 times, as the line was a dozen sellers long the first two times. Still I & my wife waited 45 mins to sell one item--a small gold chain I broke trying to unknot. It would have been nice to have an hour one day or separate line for 5 items or less. Our small item was no match for the jewelry cabinets full some were carrying. That said, the service was friendly & courteous. P.S. Years ago we took over $1K worth of broken gold to a different jeweler; we're not always "small potatoes."

Ok. Difficult to know exactly what they were looking to receive from the mail flier.
